Pulling Ink: Build A One-Color Press & Start Screenprinting

A DIY screenprinting zine aimed for the curious and slightly-acquainted aspiring printers! Pulling Ink focuses on low-cost accessible materials, non-toxic and animal-friendly approaches, and inspiring you to get off your butt and make some prints.

So I did this zine! Check out the shop if you’re interested in copies.

The master copy of the how-to screenprinting zine I put together for the screenprinting workshop in June! I’ll get this printed on to nice paper over the next week.

About

Hi there. My name is Rio and I live in Portland, Ore. I've self-published twentyish zines and comics since 2005. I've also worked in publishing for the past few years and from 2009–2011 I managed a small bookstore in SE Portland. I spend time on a press/distro called Counteract Collective and putting together projects under my label Move! Dance! Create!. Otherwise, I play banjo, run role-playing game campaigns, and hang out with my velutinous cat, Tiefl.
